Giveaways

Let chat enter. Let the bot draw.

Run a Twitch giveaway with the Raffle module. Viewers enter with !join, the bot draws when the timer ends, and winners confirm with !claim. You and your moderators can also draw early or cancel from chat.

A raffle opens and a viewer enters.

Before you start

  • Connect ItsBagelBot to your Twitch channel and enable the Raffle module.
  • Have the streamer or a moderator open the raffle before viewers enter.
How it works

Open a raffle during your stream.

  1. Enable Raffle

Sign in with Twitch, connect your channel and turn on the Raffle module. It starts disabled.

  2. Choose a draw time

Use !raffle 1000 60 for a one-minute raffle where one winner takes 1000 points, or !mraffle 5k 120 to split 5000 points across several winners.

  3. Ask viewers to join

Viewers type !join while entries are open. When the draw finishes, each winner has fifteen minutes to confirm with !claim.

Good to know

A draw with clear entry rules.

One entry per viewer
Joining again does not add another entry. The bot confirms that the viewer is already entered.
Random winners
Winners are selected uniformly from the entrants. Each entry has the same chance, and a viewer cannot win twice in the same draw.
Automatic draw
The raffle closes and draws when its duration expires. !raffle draw lets a moderator finish it earlier.
Recall the result
Use !winner to recall the last draw and see how many winners have confirmed their prizes.

Raffle durations are limited to one minute through two hours, with up to twenty winners. The bot records the draw and confirmations; arrange prize delivery with your winners.

FAQ

Setup questions.

How do viewers enter a Twitch giveaway?

While a raffle is open, viewers type !join. The bot confirms their entry. Repeating the command keeps the same entry rather than increasing their chances.

Can I draw the giveaway early?

Yes. The streamer or a moderator can use !raffle draw [winners]. !raffle close also draws using the configured winner count. !raffle cancel ends the raffle without drawing.

How do winners claim their prize?

A selected winner types !claim within fifteen minutes of the draw. The bot records the confirmation. Prize delivery is handled by the streamer.

What happens when the viewer queue is enabled too?

An open raffle takes priority for !join. Tell players to use !queue join to join the Play Queue while the raffle is open.

Can I change the giveaway messages?

Yes. The Raffle module has editable replies for opening, entry confirmation, duplicate entries, a missing raffle, winners and prize confirmation.
