Before you start

  • Connect the bot to your Twitch channel and enable Loyalty.
  • Enable Gamble and Duels separately before using their commands, and give viewers a balance to wager.
How it works

Set the currency your chat earns.

  1. Enable loyalty points

Open Loyalty in the dashboard and turn on the currency. Choose its name and the earning rates for your channel.

  2. Choose balance controls

Decide whether viewers can transfer points and whether moderators can set or adjust balances. The streamer retains those controls.

  3. Add a points game

Enable Gamble or Duels from Loyalty if you want chat to wager points. Both games use the same balance and require loyalty to stay on.

Good to know

A balance that follows your channel.

Watch time earns points
Viewers present in chat earn on a five-minute tick while the channel is live. The default award is ten points per tick.
Support earns points
Defaults award 500 for a subscription or resubscription, 100 per gifted sub and 50 per 100 bits. Subscription tiers multiply sub, resub and gifted sub awards.
Gamble uses a roll
The default win chance is 50 percent, with bets from 1 to 1000 points and a ten-second cooldown per viewer. Odds, limits and cooldown are configurable.
Duels share the ledger
Pot duels draw a winner weighted by stake. A one-to-one challenge matches equal stakes and settles with a fair coin flip.

These are ItsBagelBot loyalty points. Gamble and Duels spend that currency. Pot entries default to a sixty-second window; challenge acceptance defaults to two minutes.

FAQ

Setup questions.

How do viewers check their loyalty points?

Use !points to see a balance and watched hours. !watchtime shows accrued watch time. !leaderboard, also available as !top, shows the channel standings.

Can I name the points and change the earning rates?

Yes. Choose the currency name and tune awards for subscriptions, resubscriptions, gifted subs, cheers and watch ticks in Loyalty.

Can moderators give points to viewers?

Yes, when moderator adjustments are enabled. !points add and !points remove change a balance; !points set replaces it when moderator setting is enabled. The streamer can use these controls even when moderator access is off.

Does !gamble all always wager the entire balance?

It wagers up to the configured maximum bet. !gamble half also respects that maximum. A wager must meet the minimum and fit the available balance.

What happens to points when a duel is cancelled?

Cancellation refunds escrowed stakes. Declining a challenge or letting its acceptance window expire refunds the opener. Only the challenged viewer can accept or decline; the opener or a moderator can cancel.
